Danny Ferry Named General Manager of NBA’s Hawks, Replacing Sund

Danny Ferry has been named the president and general manager of the Atlanta Hawks, replacing Rick Sund.

Ferry, 45, previously worked in the front office for the Cleveland Cavaliers and San Antonio Spurs.

He averaged seven points over 13 National Basketball Association seasons and played collegiately at Duke University, where he earned player of the year honors in 1989.

The Hawks finished last season with 40 wins and 26 losses.
