Libyan Central Bank Establishes Commission to Check Corruption

The Central Bank of Libya has set up a commission to investigate corruption in the banking industry during the rule of former leader Muammar Qaddafi.

Central bank Governor Saddek Omar Elkaber appointed the seven-member group and said it will evaluate and act on complaints, according to a statement from the bank.
