Iran Building-Material Costs Rise by as Much as 51%, Shargh Says

The cost of construction materials in Iran has increased by as much as 51 percent in the Iranian year that ended on March 19, compared with the previous period, Shargh reported, citing the country’s statistical center.

Costs of building goods, including bricks, ceramics and pre-built items in concrete and cement, have risen by 10 percent to 51 percent, the Tehran-based newspaper said, citing a report published by the center yesterday.
