OAO Gazprom Neft, a unit of Russia’s OAO Gazprom, has made an offer for the 50 percent stake in TNK- BP being sold by BP Plc (BP/), the Sunday Times reported, citing three unidentified people with knowledge of the matter.

Gazprom Neft denied making an approach, the newspaper said.
