Sakhalin Energy Said to Sell Vityaz Crude at $4 to $4.10 Premium

Sakhalin Energy Investment Co. sold Vityaz Blend oil for late-August to early-September at a premium of $4 to $4.10 a barrel to Dubai prices, said two traders who participate in the market, asking not to be identified because they aren’t authorized to speak to the media.

The company also sold three more cargoes for August and September, one of the traders said.

Details of the deal are as follows:

Quantity:      4 cargoes x 730,000 barrels
Price:         Premium of about $4 to $4.10 to Platts Dubai,
               cost-and-freight basis (C.F.R.)
