Polish Stocks: KGHM Polska Miedz, PKN Orlen Shares Are Active

Poland’s WIG20 Index (WIG20) slipped 0.2 percent to 2,242.15 at the 5:30 p.m. close in Warsaw. The gauge advanced 0.4 percent over the past five days, gaining for the fourth week.

The following are among the most active stocks on the Warsaw Stock Exchange today. Stock symbols follow company names.

PKN Orlen SA (PKN) , the country’s largest refiner, declined 1.4 percent to 36.2 zloty, falling for a second day after Bank of America Corp. reinstated Poland’s largest refiner with an underperform recommendation and oil declined.

KGHM Polska Miedz SA (KGH) , the copper producer with the biggest European output, rose 1.5 percent to 145.5 zloty, snapping two days of losses.
