Google Inc. (GOOG) e-commerce executive Stephanie Tilenius has left to join venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers.

Tilenius will be an executive-in-residence working closely with Mary Meeker on the Digital Growth Fund, Kleiner Perkins said in an e-mailed statement today.

Niki Fenwick, a spokeswoman for Mountain View, California- based Google, confirmed the departure. “Stephanie is a very talented executive, and she will be a great addition to the KPCB team,” Fenwick said.
