U.S. house prices rose 0.8 percent on a seasonally adjusted basis in April from March, the Federal Housing Finance Agency said.
March’s increase was revised to 1.6 percent from 1.8 percent, the agency said. For the 12 months ending in April, U.S. prices rose 3.0 percent. Theindex is 17.6 percent below its April 2007 peak and is near the April 2004 level.
