Cristiano Ronaldo scored as Portugal beat the Czech Republic 1-0 to reach soccer’s European Championship semifinal.

Ronaldo scored with a 79th minute header in Warsaw after twice hitting the post with shots earlier in the game.

Portugal advances to play defending champion Spain or France in the semifinals.
