Pakistan’s ruling party nominated Makhdoom Shahabuddin, former textile minister, as its prime ministerial candidate for tomorrow’s vote in parliament, Farhatullah Babar, presidential spokesman, said by phone from Islamabad.
Raja Parvez Ashraf, a former minister, has been selected as the covering candidate, Babar said.
