Peru Stocks: Atacocha, Buenaventura, Candente, Panoro

The following companies had unusual price changes in Peru trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses, and share prices are as of the market close.

The Lima General Index (IGBVL) fell 0.3 percent to 20,712.41. The MSCI All Peru Capped Index climbed 0.1 percent to 2,781.62.

Cia. Minera Atacocha SA (ATACOBC1 PE), a Lima-based zinc mining company, dropped 2.2 percent to 45 centimos after zinc futures slumped in London.

Candente Copper Corp. (DNT) , a Canadian copper exploration company, fell 1.7 percent to 57 cents after copper and U.S. stocks declined, said Estefany Castillo, an analyst at Scotiabank Peru.

Panoro Minerals Ltd. (PML) , a Canadian copper and gold exploration company, slid 1.4 percent to 68 cents.

Cia. de Minas Buenaventura SAA (BVN:US) (BVN PE), the country’s biggest precious-metals miner, dropped 1.3 percent to $38.80 after gold declined the most in almost two weeks in New York.

Rio Alto Mining Ltd. (RIO) , a Canadian gold miner, fell for a third session, losing 1.2 percent to $4.20.
