Hornbach Holding AG (HBH3), a building materials and garden supplies retailer, is investing about 30 million euros ($38 million) in a new store in Romania.

The Neustadt an der Weinstrasse, Germany-based retailer, plans to open its fifth store in the city of Timisoara and may expand in other cities, including Cluj-Napoca, Constanta or Iasi, Hornbach said in an e-mailed statement today.

The company has invested 148 million euros in Romania in the last five years, Hornbach said.
