MF Global Parent Accrues $28.4 Million in Professional Fees

MF Global Holdings Ltd. (MFGLQ:US), the bankrupt parent of the brokerage, accrued $28.4 million in professional fees through May 31, including $13.4 million charged by trustee Louis Freeh and his firm, according to a U.S. Bankruptcy Court filing in Manhattan.

The company had $18.9 million in funds available from JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPM:US) on April 30, and spent a total of $1.6 million in May from that and other sources, it said in the June 15 filing.
