Israel’s benchmark TA-25 index rose for a second day, gaining 0.2 percent to 1,072.35 at 12:47 p.m. in Tel Aviv.

Cellcom Israel Ltd. (CEL) , Israel’s largest mobile-phone company, dropped 2.1 percent, the most since June 11 in intraday trade, to 27.60 shekels. A parliamentary committee yesterday eased rules for mobile-phone imports, raising concerns of a further erosion of revenues. Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp. (BEZQ) , which provides wireless services via a unit, dropped 0.9 percent to 4.41 shekels. Partner Communications Co. (PTNR) , the country’s second-largest mobile-phone provider, dropped 2.1 percent to 17.54 shekels.
Ratio Oil Exploration 1992 LP (RATIL) , the oil and gas explorer, advanced 1.8 percent, the most since June 7, to 0.291 shekel. The company said production tests in the Leviathan 1 field at the Rachel/349 license area were completed successfully. Delek Drilling-LP (DEDRL) , a partner at the license, advanced 1.7 percent to 12.27 shekels.
