Egypt’s benchmark EGX30 Index (EGX30) lost 3.4 percent to 4,267.87 at the 2:30 p.m. close in Cairo, the lowest level in almost five months.

Maridive & Oil Services SAE (MOIL) , an offshore services provider, declined 1.9 percent to $1.02, the lowest level since the shares were listed in December 2007. Crude for July delivery lost 1.4 percent $82.84 a barrel, poised for the biggest daily drop in a week.
South Valley Cement (SVCE) fell 1 percent to 3.05 Egyptian pounds. The Cairo-based company said its shareholders approved the sale of a precast concrete plant in Sharm El Sheikh.
