Mauritius Rupee Strengthens, Reverses Its Earlier Losses

Mauritius’s rupee rose, reversing an earlier decline and paring its weekly fall to 1.2 percent.

The currency appreciated 0.6 percent to 30.2 per dollar as of 7:40 p.m. in Port Louis, the capital, after having weakened as much as 0.9 percent in intraday trading, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
