Welsh Water to Invest 1 Billion Pounds in Infrastructure Upgrade

Welsh Water said today that it plans to invest a record 1 billion pounds ($1.55 billion) over the next three years in infrastructure projects across Wales, Herefordshire and Deeside. The plans include upgrades to water and wastewater treatment facilities at Llyswen (Powys), Bala (Meirionnydd) and Aberporth (Ceredigion) and improvements to the Wrexham wastewater works, it said today on its website.
