Vodacom Group Ltd. (VOD), the largest provider of wireless services to South Africans, said Chief Operating Officer Sipho Maseko resigned to pursue other interests.

Maseko, who joined the company in September, was also managing director of Vodacom South Africa, the Johannesburg- based company said in an e-mailed statement today. A further announcement will be made “in due course,” it said.
