Wheat use by U.K. millers fell 0.8 percent in April from the same month a year earlier, the Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs said.
Millers processed 468,100 metric tons of wheat in the month, down from 471,800 tons in 2011, Defra said in a report on its website today. Brewers, maltsters and distillers used 47,000 tons of wheat in April, down 13 percent from a year earlier, according to the report.
