Hungary’s BUX (BUX) equity index snapped two days of gains, falling 0.8 percent to 16,823.47 by 4:03 p.m. in Budapest.

Mol Nyrt. (MOL) , the country’s largest oil refiner, slid 1.6 percent to 15,885 forint, its second day of losses. The commodity was trading near the lowest level in eight months.
OTP Bank Nyrt. (OTP) , the biggest lender, retreated 0.8 percent to 3,405 forint. European stocks fell as Europe’s debt crisis deepened after Moody’s Investors Service downgraded Spain three steps and Switzerland’s central bank said that Credit Suisse Group AG must increase its capital this year.
