U.K. Stocks Pare Losses; FTSE 100 Index Is Little Changed

U.K. stocks pared losses as Fresnillo Plc and Shire Plc gained.

The FTSE 100 Index slipped 0.1 percent to 5,468.94 at 3:33 p.m. in London after earlier falling 0.7 percent.
