The Brazilian government cut the import tax on some capital goods, telecommunications and computer equipment to 2 percent, according to the country’s official gazette.
The tax on the capital goods was reduced from 14 percent and on the telecommunications and computer equipments, from 16 percent, according to an e-mailed statement by the Trade Ministry.
