U.S. 10-Year Notes Decline; Yield Rises 2 Basis Points to 1.61%

U.S. Treasuries declined, pushing the yield on the 10-year notes up two basis points to 1.61 percent as of 8:02 a.m. London time.

The nation’s 30-year yield also rose two basis points to 2.73 percent.
