Shares of the following companies had unusual moves in Thailand trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of the close in Bangkok. The SET Index (SET) fell 0.4 percent to 1,158.22, halting a five-day rally.
PTT Exploration & Production Pcl (PTTEP) , Thailand’s only publicly traded oil explorer, dropped 1.5 percent to 169.5 baht, halting a six-day gain. The company was cut to neutral, the equivalent of hold, from buy at SCB Securities Co. Ltd.
Sri Trang Agro-Industry Pcl (STA) , Thailand’s largest rubber producer, advanced 2 percent to 15.50 baht, the highest close since May 18. The November-delivery contract rose as much as 1.8 percent to 243.3 yen a kilogram ($3,055 a metric ton), before settling at 242.6 yen on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange.
