Halkbank Advances After Chief Executive Says Credit Growth Gains

Turkiye Halk Bankasi AS (HALKB), Turkey’s largest listed state-run bank, rose to the highest in more than two months after Chief Executive Officer Suleyman Aslan said credit growth was increasing in the second quarter.

The shares added 1.5 percent to 13.15 liras at 4:25 p.m. in Istanbul, gaining for an eighth consecutive day to the strongest level since April 3 on a closing basis.
