The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) rose 1.1 percent to 3,866.21, the first gain in three days and the highest close since May 30.
PT Energi Mega Persada (ENRG) , Indonesia’s second- largest listed oil company, increased 5.8 percent to 145 rupiah, snapping a two-day loss. Crude oil for July delivery increased 2.4 percent to $86.13 a barrel in New York. Futures rose 1.1 percent last week, the first weekly gain in six.
PT Jasa Marga (JSMR) , Indonesia’s largest toll-road operator, gained 2 percent to 5,150 rupiah, the sharpest advance this month. The company plans to build four toll roads on Sumatra island, Bisnis Indonesia reported today, citing President Director Adityawarman.
