China Guodian Hires Goldman for U.K. Power Plant Bid, Times Says

China Guodian Corp., the nation’s third-biggest power producer, hired Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (GS:US) to bid for a U.K. power plant, the Sunday Times reported, without saying where it got the information.

The Baglan Bay plant in South Wales, put up for sale by General Electric Co. (GE:US), generates power for more than 500,000 homes, the newspaper said.
