Rosneft Said to Sell Sokol Oil for August at $5.30 to $6 Premium

OAO Rosneft (ROSN) sold a cargo of Russia’s Sokol crude for Aug. 1 to Aug. 10 at a premium of $5.30 to $6 a barrel more than benchmark Dubai prices, said two traders who participate in the market, declining to be identified because the information is confidential.

Details of the deal are as follows:

Price:         Premium of about $5.30 to $6 a barrel above
               Platts Dubai, cost and freight (CFR)
Buyer:         Unknown
Quantity:      95,000 tons
Seller:        Rosneft
