Madrid Region Cuts Public Wages, Raises Taxes, Cinco Dias Says

The region of Madrid presented additional austerity measures, including cutting public wages by 3.3 percent to 10 percent, raising 74 taxes and public tariffs and introducing tolls on free highways, Cinco Dias reported, citing Madrid government officials.
