Ukraine seeks to increase import duty for cars, Unian news agency reported citing Ukrainian Economy MinisterPetro Poroshenko.

Ukraine wants to protect domestic producers of automobiles and to reduce effect of car imports on the country’s balance-of- payments deficit, Unian cited Poroshenko as saying.
