The euro pared its gain against the dollar after European Central Bank President Mario Draghi said the economic outlook has “increased downside risks.”
The 17-nation currency was 0.2 percent higher at $1.2481 at 1:34 p.m. London time, after strengthening to as high as $1.2528. The euro rose 0.7 percent against the yen to 98.74.
