The Czech Republic’s PX (PX) stock index gained for a third day, rising 0.8 percent to 881.20 at the close of trading in Prague.

Erste Group Bank AG (RBAG) slid 0.8 percent to 365.90 koruna, snapping two days of gains. The Austrian lender had its long-term debt rating cut two notches to A3 at Moody’s Investors Service today.
Komercni Banka AS (KOMB) , Societe Generale SA’s Czech unit, climbed for a fourth day, its longest stretch of gains in three months. The stock advanced 2.4 percent to 3,221 koruna. Lenders were among the biggest European stock gainers on speculation policy makers will step up economic stimulus.
