Brazil’s state development bank will increase lending for infrastructure after doubling it to more than 40 percent of all disbursements, according to Sergio Foldes Guimaraes, deputy managing director of the international division of what is known as BNDES.
“A huge pipeline of investments will come to BNDES in new sectors, like airports for instance,” Guimaraes said yesterday in an interview from Bloomberg’s headquarters in New York. “Infrastructure is really a priority for us.”
