Norbert Barthle, budget spokesman for Merkel’s Christian Democrats in parliament, said he doesn’t regard a new banking crisis in Germany as likely even after Moody’s Investors Service downgraded the credit ratings of German lenders including Commerzbank AG, Passauer Neue Presse reported today, citing an interview with Barthle.
