Argentina Fines Claro for Service Cut, Ordered to Repay Clients

Argentina’s government ordered Claro SA to return 9.2 million pesos ($2 million) to clients for a mobile service outage on May 9. It fined the company an additional 586,000 pesos.

The country’s Planning Ministry announced the measures today in an e-mailed statement.
