Vietnam’s Equity Movers: Saigon Fuel, Ben Thanh Rubber

Shares of the following companies had unusual moves in Vietnam trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of the close in Ho Chi Minh City. The VN Index (VNINDEX), the benchmark measure of the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, rose 1.1 percent to 421.02.

Saigon Fuel Joint-Stock Co. (SFC) , which sells gasoline and other petroleum products, rose 4.8 percent to 21,900 dong, the most since May 25. The company will pay its shareholders a dividend of 800 dong a share on June 26, it said in a statement filed on the bourse’s website.

Ben Thanh Rubber Joint-Stock Co. (BRC) , a manufacturer of industrial rubber products, climbed 4.4 percent to 11,900 dong. The company forecasts net income to rise 8.9 percent to 13.5 billion dong this year, it said in a statement on the exchange’s website.
