The FTSE/JSE Africa All Share Index rose for the first time in three days, advancing less than 0.1 percent to 33,093.11 by 12:52 p.m. in Johannesburg.

Clover Industries Ltd. (CLR) , South Africa’s biggest dairy company, headed for its biggest gain in almost two months, climbing 2.2 percent to 13.70 rand. The company renewed an outsourcing agreement with Eqstra Flexifleet (Pty) Ltd., saying it will help it reduce costs and increase volume over time.
MTN Group Ltd. (MTN) , Africa’s biggest mobile-phone company, fell for the first time in four days, dropping 0.4 percent to 135.51 rand. The Democratic Alliance, South Africa’s main opposition party, said that the Hawks, an elite police unit, are probing allegations of corruption related to the company’s Iranian unit.
