Japan Purchased 3.8% of EFSF Bonds Sold Yesterday, Official Says

Japan purchased 3.8 percent of the debt sold by the European Financial Stability Facility yesterday, a Japanese Finance Ministry official said.

The nation bought 75 million euros ($93 million) of 2 billion euros in three-month bills sold, the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity because of the ministry’s policy.
