Iran and Armenia agreed to build a hydroelectric power plant on the Aras river, which borders the two nations, Press TV reported, without saying where it got the information.
Iran and Armenia agreed on June 2 to start construction in August of the Meghri power plant, which will have the capacity to produce 130 megawatts of electricity, the Iranian state-run news channel said. It didn’t provide financial details for the project.
