Economiesuisse doubts that the introduction of capital controls to curb the strength of the Swiss franc would be the “right instrument,” SonntagsZeitung reported, citing Pascal Gentinetta, chairman of the executive board of the Swiss business group.
The use of negative interest rates in the 1970s was negative, Gentinetta said in an interview with the newspaper.
