Lubelski Wegiel Bogdanka SA (LWB), Poland’s second-largest publicly traded coal producer, gained for the first time in three days as thermal coal prices climbed.
The shares advanced as much as 0.9 percent to 117.7 zloty, and traded 0.3 percent higher at 117.1 zloty as of 9:13 a.m. in Warsaw. Thermal coal for 2013 delivery rose 0.5 percent to $99.70 a metric ton, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
