Wells Fargo Lending Discrimination Case Seen Possible by U.S.

The Justice Department has “sufficient basis” to file a lending discrimination complaint against Wells Fargo & Co., the largest U.S. mortgage lender, said Assistant Attorney General Thomas Perez in a conference call with reporters today.

Wells Fargo previously disclosed a probe into the matter.
