The U.S. Treasury Department’s top international official is visiting Greece and three other European countries to discuss ”economic stability and growth in Europe,” according to a statement from the Treasury.
Lael Brainard, the Treasury undersecretary for international affairs, is in Athens today to meet with officials. She will be in Europe through June 1.
On May 30, Brainard will be in Frankfurt and Madrid. On May 31, she meets with officials in Paris and Berlin. She ends her trip on June 1 in Berlin, the Treasury statement said.
