China National Petroleum Corp., PetroChina Co.’s parent, aims to produce more than 8.5 million metric tons equivalent of oil and natural gas in Gansu province by 2015, Xinhua News Agency said, without citing the origin of the information.

CNPC currently has 8,000 kilometers of pipelines in the northwestern Chinese province and plans to add a further 4,000 kilometers by 2015, the official news service said.
