Jirama, Madagascar’s state-owned electricity and water distributor, is incurring monthly losses of 30 billion ariary ($14 million), l’Express de Madagascar reported, citing data from the Treasury.
Enelec, which sells electricity to three towns, plans to stop provision because of unpaid bills, the Antananarivo-based newspaper said today, citing a statement from Enelec.
