Terra Firma Capital Partners Ltd. is planning to float its Infinis Plc energy unit in a stock listing that may be worth 1 billion pounds ($1.6 billion), The Sunday Telegraph said, citing people close to the company that it didn’t identify.
Terra Firma is trying to raise money for a new fund and will probably begin the Infinis sales process in early 2013, the newspaper reported.
Terra Firma and Infinis didn’t return phone calls seeking comment.
