Tata Motors Ltd. (TTMT)’s Jaguar Land Rover unit may report an increase in annual pretax profit on May 29 helped by demand in Asia, the Sunday Telegraph reported, without saying where it got the information.
The U.K.-based unit, which sells cars including the Range Rover Evoque, may report profit of between 1.5 billion pounds ($2.35 billion) and 1.6 billion pounds compared with 1.1 billion pounds last year, the newspaper reported. China may now be the largest sales region for the carmaker, overtaking the U.K., according to Sunday Telegraph.
