Zimbabwe’s exports rose 14 percent from a year earlier to $900 million in the first quarter, the state-controlled Herald said, citing a central bank report.
Imports rose 41 percent to $1.85 billion, the Harare-based Herald said on its website. Mineral exports made up 73 percent of the total, followed by tobacco at 11 percent, it said.
