Irish Banks Need Billions in Second Bailout, Handelsblatt Says

Ireland’s banks may need a second bailout of between 2 billion euros ($2.6 billion) and 4 billion euros in the coming years, Handelsblatt reported, citing a study by Deutsche Bank AG (DBK) analysts.

Economic assumptions for the real-estate market and the economy were too optimistic, the German newspaper said, citing Stephen Kinsella, professor at the University of Limerick
