Usinas Siderurgicas de Minas Gerais SA, Brazil’s second-largest steelmaker, said a furnace at its Cubatao plant has resumed operations after catching fire last night, according to an e-mailed statement.
No one was injured, the Belo Horizonte, Brazil-based company said in the statement. Usiminas is investigating what caused the fire, and didn’t provide any further details.
